- Code A: Junior Translation Officer (JTO) in Central Secretariat Official Language Service (CSOLS)
- Qualification Criteria:
- Master’s degree in Hindi or English with either English or Hindi as a compulsory subject OR
- Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level, AND
A recognized diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years of relevant experience.
- Code B: Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/Junior Translation Officer (JTO)/Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations
- Qualification Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory subject OR
- Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level, AND
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years of experience.
- Code C: Junior Hindi Translator (JHT)/Junior Translation Officer (JTO)/Junior Translator (JT) in various Central Government ministries, departments, and organizations.
- Qualification Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory subject OR
- Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level, AND
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 2 years of experience.
- Code D: Senior Hindi Translator (SHT)/Senior Translator (ST) in various Central Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations
- Qualification Criteria:
- Master’s Degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory subject OR
- Master’s Degree in any subject with English medium and Hindi as a compulsory subject at the degree level, AND
- Recognized Diploma or Certificate Course in Translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, or 3 years of experience.
